A wild, wet and windy day set the scene for a wild and fast paced game. Bradwood oval was underwater after a week of solid rain, but Strathalbyn kindly offered a wonderful pitch to play on.
With the wind in their hair, both teams took to the pitch ready and excited to play. The first half was filled with attempts on goals by the Stirling District girls, but with the wind pushing against them there was no opportunity for any of those attempts to turn to success. On the other side, Strathalbyn White were strong with all of their opportunities and despite all best attempts from Charlotte's amazing goal keeping 4 goals made it through to the back of the net.
The wind, rain and hail kept pursuing the teams in the second half as did both teams in their strikes on goals. Strathalbyn took their chances and secured two more goals for a superb 6-0 win.
The Stirling girls left the pitch defeated but confident of finding another win soon.
