Match report

A late game today on the Hahndorf home ground. Coach Danny told the boys to head out on to the pitch and have fun, and they did.

 We had the initial advantage of the slightly sloping pitch heading into our goal end for the first half. Stirling white however got in first with a goal one minute into the game. Henri Bjordal fired back with a goal 5 minutes later.  The game was on! 

Tom Boekel was our star goal keeper we stopped many Stirling balls from getting into the net. His skills impressed all.

Our defence game was strong with Konrad Michael, Elwin Aylen, William Whiting, Alexander Romaldi and Ryley Neumann. All played with strength and persistence. No- one wanted Stirling to win. In the second half Ben Romaldi jumped in to provide some fresh energy.

The attack team was Damon Martin, Jacob Neuman, Stefan Panich andToby Perkins. These boys passed, kicked and ran after the ball. This great team work enabled Jacob to get a goal after a beautiful pass from brother Ryley. Jacobs second goal was after assistance from Damon.

All boys played well and should be pleased. Stirling was the winner on the day, but next time boys we want a win.
