The U16's headed up to Bradwood Park to play top of the table and undefeated Stirling District's. With both keepers out and a few injuries we knew it was going to be a tough task. The boys played well for the first 20 minutes holding the defence well conceding shots but District's couldn't finish their chances. Eventually Woodside started to get the ball playing in their half but allowed District's to counter and break through with the pressure. It was good football from both sides and quality was met with quality. The half time score was 3-0 but the boys were kept their heads up and were passing really well. District's went up a level in the second half and Woodside just couldn't keep up the intensity and determination from the first half. The injuries were getting the better of us but we fought till the end. Woodside were unlucky not to walk away with a goal but should be positive with their efforts and carry that into the next few games. Stirling District's add another big win and continue their undefeated run looking to win the league.
