Beautiful winters day. 

What a day! The sun came out and both teams were super excited after having a week break from the long weekend before. The game began with Murray Bridge really applying pressure and Jensen Wade having to make an early save in goals on his first ever goalie experience. Woodside didn't think too much of this pressure and quickly got their game on, returning the favour. It was nearing the end of the half and still no goals had been scored, despite plenty of attempts at both ends. Near the end of the half, Hannah Mlikota had a shot on goal, but the keeper deflected it.  Not to be deterred, Hannah went again, this time finding the back of the net for her first goal for the season and Woodside team looked super excited.  First half score 1 Woodside-0  Murray Bridge. This goal of Hannah's must have been pretty special as Woodside came out firing.   Scott Schulz scored a quick goal, then another first timer Lachie Atkin recieved a beautiful pass from Scott and also scored his first goal for the season.  Next in line was Jasper Jones, finding the net for his first goal of the season.  Samuel Colla came out of defence and applied some serious forward pressure and put 3 more goals on the board to finish the day off. 7-0  Murray Bridge's goalie despite the score saved 11  attempts and was diving left and right showing he was not afraid . Well done top effort from both teams and good luck next week.
