Woodside Red U11's were really looking forward to this game after having a bye for round 1, although they did have a great 5 on 5 scratch match to ease their way into the season.

The sun was out but a few ominious clouds loomed above. Ready to put to the test the past months training Woodside Red got off to a great start sharing the ball around. With in a couple of minuntes Logan scored with a little fumble from the Mt Barker Goalie after a peppering of shots. From there both teams showed great skills with some solid strikes being taken and well defended from Salvatore Woodside's goal keeper. Woodside had a solid defence with first gamer Harley stepping up to the plate and attacking the ball like a warrior!! At half time scores were even. As the players were setting up for the second half the rain started, with in a few minutes the game was called up and everyone went running for cover. A dissapointing end to what promised to be a great tight match based on the fisrt halfs play.
