Football 4 Girls!

The AHJFA is proud to announce that it will be running a girls-only four-a-side football competition at the Summit Sports & Recreation Ground in Mount Barker. The competition will be held on Friday evenings during Term 2, and is open to girls between the ages of 5 and 8 years old.

The association recognizes the importance of promoting women's sports, and this competition provides an excellent opportunity for young girls to get involved in the world game. With the Women's World Cup being played later this year, it's an exciting time to be a part of women's football. The four-a-side format ensures that every player is involved and has plenty of touches on the ball, helping to develop their skills and passion for the game.

Teams will consist of four players with up to three players on the bench, and games will be played in a friendly and supportive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for girls to make new friends and have fun while participating in a healthy and active lifestyle.
