Exemption applications are required for ALL players who are above the age of the division they are applying to play in. Notification MUST be received by the Club from the AHJSA prior to an Overage Player participating. The club must submit the application for exemption, including all required fields, a week prior to the commencement of the player joining that team Regulations for Overage Exemptions are provided in Rule 11 of the AHJSA Competition Rules.
The AHJSA may make enquiries as is deems necessary to verify the accuracy of the information provided in this application. The decision to approve or decline this application by the AHJSA is final. Any overage exemption approved can be rescinded by the AHJSA at any time during the season if information or evidence is obtained that is contrary to that contained in this application. Additional penalties other than the disqualification of the player may be applied at the discretion of the AHJSA.
